You may be a student from Anna Nagar, fresh graduate from Goripalayam, job seeker in KK Nagar or an home maker from Chinna Chokkikulam, if you are interested in getting into IT sector but do not have coding skills then our AI-integrated UI/UX design course is all you need. Our up to date UI/UX Design curriculum will be your pathway to IT success.
Our exclusive AI-included UI/UX design course enables you to conceptualize an idea for a website or an app, explore the idea into a viable digital product by using standard UX research methods and finally transform the idea into wireframes, easily navigatable UI and prototypes.
UX module focuses on how to approach a product from a user's standpoint and explore various solutions to come up with a solution that satisfies and delights the user.
In UI module students learn to create visually appealing, digital interfaces that adhere to brand guidelines that attract users.
Students will create a strong portfolio that showcases their versatility and the depth of their design thinking capabilities. These types of portfolios attract recruiters and gets them an interview call.
UI/UX designing is significantly easier with the help of generative AI and agentic AI technologies as it helps a lot in automating the repetitive tasks. AI-driven design tech can create wireframes in no time, suggest the best layouts and page structures with color palette formulations and hints about placeholder content. This liberates designers from doing repetitive, manual work and lets them channel more of their energies on strategy, creative and human-centred problem-solving.
Halo Design Academy will give you a powerful learning experience to meet the needs of the modern design industry. We teach real design skills, build strong portfolios and a better understanding of user-centered processes. We have developed a comprehensive program that gets behind the academic jargon and prepares our students to achieve success in competitive UI/UX roles.
Our UI/UX design course in Madurai consists of daily classroom sessions, each session for a period of 1 hour. The reason why we handle it for 1 hour is because anybody cannot have their attention on full focus for more than 1 hour. Also, about 10 to 15 minutes of the classroom sessions will be utilized to check and review the previous day's assignments and student progress. We strictly do not go beyond 1 hour of theory per day because many of our students are juggling busy schedules across the city—some attend colleges around Goripalayam, while others work part-time jobs near Anna Nagar and KK Nagar. Since they are unable to spend more than 1 hour a day for theory sessions, our training patterns are designed in a truly all-inclusive way.
As they say strike when the rod is hot, immediately after the 1 hour theory session follows the practical session in which students need to do that day's assignment and submit it for next day's review. We do not impose any time restrictions on students regarding practice sessions and they can have n number of practical hours. Most of our students travel to our design training institute from far locations like Bibi kulam, high traffic areas like Tallakulam and areas like Chinna Chokkikulam where there is very few public transportation facilities so maximizing their practice timings is important. Our UI/UX design lab is equipped with 8 high end systems and students can use them and they need not bring their own laptops. Still some students might be comfortable with their own laptops and we have got space provisions for those students also.
We have 4 levels of UI/UX Design assigments
Preliminary UI/UX Design Assigments
These are some basic assignments that are given to students whenever a new tool or option or concept is taught to them to get fluent with that tool or option or concept. They don't have any direction or role to play except for tool expertise.
Basic UI/UX Design assignments
These assignments will train students in flexible usage of multiple tools and to create a solid output combining various tools. Though the output of these assignments are good and have productive value to it, still they are separate islands irrelevant to one another and they are not worthy of being featured in their portfolios.
UI/UX Design Projects
Student's will have to do 4 major projects. 1 UI/UX design for web, 1 UI/UX design for iOS app, 1 UI/UX design for android app and 1 app for WatchOS. These 4 projects are the ones that will decorate your crown jewel portfolio. These assignments will go through continuous scrutiny and multiple iterations so that students projects are well refined and also they get used to the agile methodology followed in UI/UX design field in IT companies and major corporates located around Oomachikulam.
UI/UX Design Presentation
Once their 4 major projects are done, students will have to create a presentation for each project which tells the whole design process starting from ideation, exploration, ux research, user personas, empathy mapping, information architecture, userflow, wireframes, high fidelity UI till the scalable design systems they have built including color and typography. UI/UX portfolio might become more valuable when mockups and prototypes are added to it. These UI/UX project presentations are uploaded in your behance profile and thus your portfolio is established which will act as your visiting card to recruiters from Thasildhar Nagar.
We strictly do not believe in marks and grades because they do not represent a student's problem solving ability and UI/UX design is not maths to have a definite solution it will always have a better solution. Also each and every project has its own demands and thus can never be measured against a standard benchmark. Our assessments only focus on making the student leave our training center as a better designer and atleast an inch closer towards their goal of becoming an UI/UX design professional. Our assessment factors are as follows.
Originality
For all the above 4 mentioned projects UI/UX design students from Madurai need to come up with their own ideas just like how hiring executives from UI/UX design studios in Iyer Bungalow will expect. They shall not use any AI tool to come with a concept and even if they do still we are well equipped to detect if it AI generated or not. These project ideas can be on a global scale or can address a localised issue in Madurai but the UI/UX design project should be something unique, fresh and relatable. May be once your idea is selected you can use AI to refine your idea into a much better proof of concept.
Depth of UX research
How many layers of UX research the students have performed, what all factors they have considered, how many stakeholder perspectives are included, variety in user personas collected, how they have prioritized the features list, how many quality analysis they have done, worth of the competitor analysis and market research, user test cycles conducted, iterations done in userflow to create a more precise UI/UX design project, all these factors play an important role in how we assess their UI/UX projects.
Application of UX laws
Laws of UX are not taught for them to write 16 mark answers, they are taught to implement in their UI/UX projects. So how effectively they have understood laws of UX and how they have implemented them in their designs is an important factor we consider. Not only us but also recruiters from some high end startups located in Thiruppalai expect these implementations in your UI/UX design projects.
Implementation of UI guidelines
From the choice of colors and typeface till applying Gestalt principles, iOS and android guidelines and WCAG guidelines followed, consistency in font usage, buttons, UI elements, spacing and margins, interactive components, mobile first approach everything wil be scrutinized. These are some international standards set by esign studios located in Thabalthanthi nagar.
Our UI/UX design students would have learned to combine the beauty of visually appealing Interfaces with practicality and results-based functionalities by the end of the course. They would have developed their practice beyond a basic aesthetic to understanding the psychology of human interaction and every tiny technical nuance of contemporary environments. They will be equipped to go to UI/UX jobs in some high level IT companies in Gomathipuram, K Pudur and Surya Nagar.
After completing your UI/UX design course you can go to any of the following UI/UX design jobs. Most of our students are placed in companies around Park town, DRO colony, P&T Nagar.

Absolutely not required. Coding a website or an app is a step that comes after UI/UX designing and it is called as UI development or front-end development. UI/UX designers are like an architect who plans a building and UI developers are like civil engineers who construct that plan. So, for UI/UX designing coding is not required.
We are not going to lie like some paid youtubers, instead we are going to be true to our standard. Starting salary for a fresher UI/UX designer has a huge range from ₹12,000 per month to ₹60,000 per month, but to end on the higher end of the spectrum you need to have a really a great portfolio with an undeniable quality and depth. Also majority of the UI/UX job roles start at the lower end of the spectrum no matter what your job location, company, project or position may be.
Will AI replace UI/UX designers in future? This is one of the most common fear not only in UI/UX design aspirants but also in existing UI/UX designers. But the truth is AI cannot replace UI/UX designers, because AI cannot think for itself, it only follows instructions and prompts placed by a human. So obviously AI needs a human to tell or instruct what needs to tell. AI cannot empathise or reason out human behavior and come up with a solution accordingly. So, obviously there is no way UI/UX designers will be replaced by AI.
