Welcome to Halo Design Academy. By accessing our website (www.halodesignacademy.com) or enrolling in our courses, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. General Overview
Halo Design Academy, located in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, provides professional training in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, and Hybrid Multimedia courses. These terms apply to all visitors, students, and users of our digital and physical resources.
2. Course Enrollment & Admissions
Eligibility: Enrollment is open to individuals seeking design skills. Some courses may require a basic understanding of computers.
Demo Sessions: We offer free demo sessions to prospective students. Booking a demo does not constitute a guarantee of admission.
Course Duration: Our courses have fixed durations (e.g., 6 months for UI/UX, 9 months for Graphic Design). We do not permit "fast-tracking" or "shortened" versions of these stipulated timelines to ensure the quality of learning and portfolio development.
3. Payment & Fees
Fee Structure: Course fees must be paid according to the schedule agreed upon at the time of admission.
Refund Policy: Fees once paid are generally non-refundable and non-transferable, as seats are limited and allocated based on enrollment. Any exceptions are at the sole discretion of the Academy management.
4. Training & Lab Usage
Class Schedule: Regular classes typically consist of 1 hour of instruction per day, Monday through Friday.
Lab Access: Students have access to our high-end lab facilities from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM for practice.
Personal Equipment: Students are encouraged to bring their own laptops. The Academy provides dedicated space and support for personal device usage.
Attendance: Consistent attendance is required for successful portfolio completion and eligibility for placement assistance.
5. Intellectual Property & Student Portfolios
Ownership: Students retain ownership of the original designs created during their course.
Promotional Usage: By enrolling, students grant Halo Design Academy the right to showcase their work, portfolios, and case studies on our website, social media, and international platforms (e.g., Behance, Dribbble) for promotional and educational purposes.
Course Content: All teaching materials, syllabus details, and proprietary tutorials provided by the Academy are the intellectual property of Halo Design Academy and may not be redistributed without permission.
Website Ownership (Copyright): All content included on this website, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, digital downloads, and software, is the property of Halo Design Academy or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws. The compilation of all content on this site is the exclusive property of Halo Design Academy.
Restrictions on Use: Users are prohibited from modifying, copying, distributing, transmitting, displaying, publishing, selling, or licensing any condition or content from this website for commercial or public purposes without express written placement from Halo Design Academy.
Student Work & Showcase Images: This website displays works created by students of Halo Design Academy. While the original copyright of specific projects may remain with the respective students, Halo Design Academy holds the right to display these images for promotional, educational, and archival purposes. Third-party users are strictly prohibited from downloading or using student work for their own projects or portfolios.
Protection of Student Likeness & Placement Data: The 'Placements' section of this website features real images, names, and success stories of students from Halo Design Academy. These images are protected by personality and privacy rights. Users are strictly prohibited from downloading, duplicating, or using these student photographs or their career data for any purpose—especially for the promotion of competing services. Any unauthorized use will be met with legal action.
6. Digital Resources ("Freebies")
Usage License: The mockups, brushes, and patterns provided in our "Freebies" section are free for personal and commercial use in design projects.
Restrictions: You may not redistribute, resell, or sub-license these resources as standalone files on any other platform.
7. Placement Assistance
Eligibility: 100% placement assistance is provided to students who successfully complete their course, submit all assignments, and finalize their professional portfolio.
No Guarantee: While we provide extensive industry connections and interview opportunities, final employment is subject to the student's performance and the hiring company’s criteria.
8. Software Usage
Training is conducted using industry-standard tools including Adobe XD, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and others. The Academy reserves the right to update the software stack based on industry trends.
9. Limitation of Liability
Halo Design Academy is not liable for any technical issues arising from the use of third-party software, loss of data on lab machines (students are advised to keep backups), or any external links provided on our website.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Madurai, Tamil Nadu.
